Samsung Galaxy A26 Key Highlights and Specs
The new Samsung Galaxy A26 sits right in the middle of Samsung’s 2025 A-series lineup, bridging the gap between budget and slightly premium options. It brings a bigger 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with slimmer bezels, but still sticks with the dated notch and a noticeable bottom chin. For most users, this screen is good enough for social media and videos, but don’t expect flagship-level brightness.
One highlight is its all-glass design with Gorilla Glass Victus+, which feels more premium than its price suggests. The phone has a 50MP main camera, an ultra-wide, and a macro lens same as last year plus a decent 13MP selfie camera. While the camera hardware hasn’t changed much, Samsung promises up to six years of software updates, which is a big plus for budget buyers.
Performance depends on your region you’ll either get the Exynos 1380 or the older Exynos 1280 chip if you’re in Latin America. It’s paired with up to 8GB RAM and a big 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. Sadly, Samsung removed the headphone jack and stereo speakers this year, which might disappoint some people.
Overall, the Galaxy A26 is made for everyday use social apps, videos, calls and nothing too heavy. If you want better performance, brighter display and faster charging, it’s worth looking at the A36 or A56 instead.
